Few people beat me in being disciplined. I have no problem with working hard for years. Saying that vacations and weekends are for lazy people is going too far.

To start with, taking a break is not for lazy people. It’s like saying that a marathon runner who stops running during the day is not taking his training seriously enough.

You say that friends and family do not matter. Spending time with them is optional in the best of cases.

Good thinking

For years during my start-up days I didn’t take vacations because I assumed it was a luxury I couldn’t afford. I got to a point where I was really stay consistent in your messaging burned out and didn’t want to get up in the morning. You have to take your breaks. It’s not a bad thing, but quite the opposite. It’s essential like drinking, eating and breathing. Even a long time later I felt bad every time I wasn’t working.

Today I can finally enjoy mine. I recommend you do the same.

Recurring meetings with the team
