Opportunities this August offers you – rekindling friendships and starting new things

I still remember a conversation I had recently with a friend. I told him something similar to the fact that people don’t usually regret the things they’ve done, but rather, most of the time, the things they haven’t done. This is in line with a comment that has made me reflect a lot on my view of life.

Things I’ve done

Vacations are a perfect time to dedicate time to everything that is not enough outside of vacations. “Friends” is a key word for me in this context. With the excuse of being overwhelmed by projects, one prioritizes work over friendships and it is overseas data clear that this does not make sense. Within a short-term vision, it does make sense because picking up the phone and investing time in a good call with a friend does not make sense when you have to deliver a task and you only have a few hours left to do it.

With other friends I do it a little (although not too much) better. We already have a date and flights to visit Germany. We repeat the move because we all had a great time last year.

It’s been about a year since I contacted a friend with whom I spent a lot of time together during Erasmus. Now we have gotten used to having a call every two weeks. I have it as a recurring meeting in my calendar and it is blocked so that work meetings cannot enter. Now due to vacation issues we have not spoken for a couple of weeks so I am already looking forward to resuming our calls next week.

Things that you could resume in August

In my case I cannot complain about things that I have resumed. Training for a marathon for example, although it is already tiring for you to tell you about it for the umpteenth time. The only “problem” is the injuries that are accumulating. I find know your customers well it hard to accept that it is a question of age. I will have to be more patient with the time it takes for the body to adapt. My legs are already strong enough, but my injuries don’t let me run as much as I’d like. Sports and various hobbies are a good example of things that can be resumed now that many of us have more time.

The example above is possibly the most important

Resuming and celebrating friendships. I just mentioned it to my wife and she said, “We should be more like [name of one of my best friends].” He is the example to follow for me in terms of friends. He doesn’t let you down, he’s there for anything you ask him (and don’t ask him).

The weekend we just left behind was vietnam data a bit boring. After so much “fuss” we didn’t organize any get-togethers with friends. In the end, at the celebration party in Paris, we regretted it. In the end, we like the “stress” of celebrating parties and being with people, even though we also like our peace and quiet.
